McGinn's PistachioLand is the home to 90 acres of pistachio trees and 14 acres of grapes. We grow, harvest, process and create many delicious products from our pistachios and wine grapes. The World's Largest Pistachio has drawn attention to our little family farm and we have received many famous visitors:

World's Largest Pistachio a New Mexico True Treasure!


In October 2010, the movie "This Must Be The Place" filmed around Alamogordo and at the World's Largest Pistachio at PistachioLand. In December 2012, Larry the Cable Guy filmed part of an episode "Lost in Space" of "Only in America" at McGinn's Country Store and the World's Largest Pistachio. The episode aired in May 2013.

The Today Show's Al Roker and Matt Lauer toured PistachioLand and the World's Largest Pistachio. Their PistachioLand adventure aired on the Today Show on May 10, 2016. Look for the World's Largest Pistachio to air on t.v. again in summer of 2018.

Also filmed in Ride with Norman Reedus on AMC in February 2017 and Ozzy & Jack's World Detour on A&E in 2018.
